INTRODUCTION
The Borneo Amateur Radio DX Contest (BAR-DX) is organized by radio clubs based on the island of Borneo, covering Indonesia Area 7, Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), and Brunei Darussalam.
Contest objectives :
To enhance the operating skills of licensed Amateur Radio operators.
To strengthen camaraderie and friendship across borders.
To promote sportsmanship within the amateur radio community.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all licensed Amateur Radio operators (IAR), including DX stations.

Bands: 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, 10m (excluding WARC)
Mode: Telephony (SSB)
Exchange: RS (59) + Serial Number starting from 001
CATEGORIES
Single Operator High Power (≤1500W PEP) – 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Single Operator Low Power (≤100W PEP) – 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Single Operator Overall Highest Score
Special Event Station – Eligible for bonus points
SCORING SYSTEM
Same country : 2 points
Same continent : 3 points
Different continent : 5 points
Bonus Point : 25 points
Special event station bonus : 7A7BAR – 9M6BN – 9M8BAR – V84CBD
Definitions :
Same country : QSOs within the same national jurisdiction.
Same continent : QSOs within Asia.
Different continent : Asia to Europe, America, Oceania, Africa.
MULTIPLIERS
Multipliers are counted per band
First prefix worked = 1 multiplier
First country worked = 1 multiplier
FINAL SCORE
Final Score = Total Points × Total Multipliers

GENERAL RULES
Self-spotting is prohibited
Only one transmitted signal is allowed at any time (single signal rule)
Duplicate QSOs on the same band/mode are not counted
Special event stations must be recognized by the organizer
The committee reserves the right to review or disqualify any entry
All committee decisions are final
